Security CD - Spybot Search & Destroy
Spybot Search & Destroy is another popular and free adware/spyware scanner that is commonly mentioned along with Lavasoft's Ad-Aware. Both programs are nearly equal in detecting and removing malicious content, but Ad-Aware's interface is a little friendlier to newcomers. You should be fine with just using Ad-Aware, but for those people who want more protection, you can use both programs as they compliment one another very well. This CD focuses on using Ad-Aware, but you can install and try out Spybot if you're feeling brave.
